The holistic actual analysis of (mental) health

Development

stayok is operated by Health & Medical Services Ltd. and was developed in collaboration with Helsana Insurance Ltd. Scientists and scientific institutions from all areas of medicine have been involved in the development of stayok.

A scientific study conducted by the Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology department at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences demonstrated the reliability of the measurement instruments used, and the sensitivity of the diagnostics.

Structure

The stayok questionnaire is based on the recognized bio-psycho-social model ICF of the WHO and has been empirically tested in various studies.

The questionnaire covers occupational, medical, social, and financial aspects, as well as the person’s personality. The analysis covers both resources and deficits in all relevant areas of life.

Topics covered

The stayok questionnaire is divided into three areas: life balance, health, and personality. These areas are influenced by various factors. The standardized and efficient survey leaves more time for the essentials: The analysis quickly provides a differentiated picture as basis for measures and interventions.

Life balance

Life balance is the equilibrium between professional and private life, which is also expressed in terms of personal life satisfaction and quality. If the delicate balance between work and private life is disturbed, this can seriously jeopardize health and performance. If the person concerned has been unable to work for some time or is no longer working, the protective and coping strategies are surveyed. The life balance value shown in the report is calculated from the professional, private and financial situation.

Health

Health indicates the physical and mental well-being of the respondent. The health score is calculated from the person's existing health (well-being) in conjunction with the extent of impairments and disease scores (symptoms and diagnoses). It also measures the extent of the respondent's existing ability to carry out his or her activities and to fulfill his or her role functions or role expectations in his or her own everyday working life (ability to participate).

Personality

The personality score in the evaluation is made up of alertness and the 5 dimensions of personality. Alertness is about a person's perception and decisiveness as well as their proactive approach to problems. The Big 5 test shows the five dimensions of the respondent's personality (neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, conscientiousness, and agreeableness).
